Carlo Acutis High School is a boys and girls catholic secondary school which operates to fulfill Beehive’s dream for a wonderful, joyful campus of learning, inspiring young people and their families from a very early age.
On the 4th of January 2022 Carlo Acutis started its journey to academic excellence with only form 1. Carlo Acutis is one of the schools under the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Institute which is situated in the heart of Chilomoni Township in Blantyre.
As some will be going in form 2 in the 2022 -2023 academic year, Carlo Acutis Catholic High School will be administering entrance examinations on the 6th of August at their School Campus in Chilomoni.
The exams will start exactly at 8:00 00 in the morning and questions will be asked from Mathematics, English and General Science.
A non-refundable fee of K5,000 for entrance examination must be deposited to First Capital Bank, Account name St Kizito & Carlo Acutis Schools, Account number 6707002392 . Or you can send it to Mpamba on 0888 712 858 or Airtel money 0 985 962 400 before the day and bring the proof of payment during the examination day.
Registration for the entrance examinations could be done online by visiting the website url www.registration.maryqueenofpeace.africa or by sending email office@maryqueenofpeace.africa or whatspp 0999 038 077 / 0884 417257 to reserve a seat.
During the examination day, candidates are advised to come along with 2 passport size photos to be attached with the application form, reference letter from parish priest or pastor, reference letter from the previous school and writing materials which include pencil, pen and a ruler.
Tuition fee at Carlo Acutis is Mk 270,000 per term and it is possible to pay in installments with 50% of the fee in the first pay. The school also provides well balanced meals which include breakfast and lunch.
The school uniform is priced at Mk 52,500,000 which includes a choice of having 2 long or short sleeved shirts, 2 pairs of trousers or skirts for girls, a jersey, necktie and a waistcoat.
Carlo Acutis uses a Malawian Curriculum for teaching and its students will be seated for their examinations under the Malawi National Examination Board.
Every teacher has a laptop and every classroom has a big plasma screen with access to free Wi-Fi in order to keep the students in line with the technology world.
Students also have a chance to have a practical experience as the school has a science laboratory, computer laboratory and a fully equipped library. Extracurricular activities such as sports, drama, choir club, mathematics club are provided.
